Description:
- We're seeking an experienced Executive Protection Manager to closely collaborate with our client's executives, overseeing the coordination of protection services for their CEO, Board Members, and other high-ranking personnel across the United States, Canada, and international destinations. The protection models encompass various levels, ranging from discreet low-profile to close protection, with the utilization of diverse protective intelligence platforms.
- The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in providing close protection to corporate executives during local, domestic, and international travels. They should excel in building strong relationships, possess outstanding communication skills, adeptly connect intelligence to operations, and demonstrate meticulous attention to detail in fast-paced environments. This role reports to the Director of Security (Executive Protection) and involves making critical decisions while managing within a team setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality close protection services to the CEO and other corporate executives.
- Manage administrative and operational aspects of assigned executive protection programs.
- Coordinate security logistics, including transportation arrangements, arrival/departure procedures, and other logistical requirements.
- Utilize protective intelligence to identify risks, offer recommendations for enhancement, and align stakeholder priorities effectively.
- Serve as a trusted advisor for the executive protection team at assigned locations, collaborating with various departments such as IT, Finance, Investor Relations, Legal, Law Enforcement, and Government Agencies.
- Coordinate, oversee, and manage protection support from third-party suppliers.
- Tailor executive protection strategies using a protective intelligence lens across diverse scenarios.
- Coordinate and manage protective intelligence for international and domestic travel based on executive risk profiles, country profiles, recommendations from entities like the US State Department, and risk models.
- Develop protective intelligence plans for corporate events and coordinate uniformed security support.
Preferred Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience managing and providing executive protection to CEOs or executives within a corporate environment; no equivalent experience or substitutions will be considered.
- Experience in developing and executing executive protection projects from start to finish.
- Proficiency in managing and coordinating executive protection in high-risk international travel destinations.
- Experience in managing contractors and vendors supporting executive protection projects.
- Ability to establish formal training programs for personnel accompanying executives during travel.
- Proficiency in utilizing multiple platforms for conducting open-source intelligence investigations.
- Expertise in leveraging protective intelligence to inform risk management and protective operations.
- Experience in providing protective intelligence reports and briefings to support protective operations.
- Ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and willingness to travel, work nights, and weekends as required.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
