Button Veterinary Hospital is a well-established, full-service, privately owned, small animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care with 3.75 DVMs and an urgent care DVM on Monday - Wednesday. We have treated pets for 4 and 5 generations of families in South Puget Sound.

We are in need of a special person to join our growing front desk team in a full-time or part-time position with previous veterinary customer service experience. We value our clients and their pets as family and expect our staff to bear that in mind in everything we do. We also strive to provide compassionate, ethical, and quality care. We want to offer the best client experience and want work to minimize our patient’s stress during our interactions. Our team is working towards this goal and as we are human, we may stumble, but the team is there to hold you up. We truly enjoy each other’s company and laughter is often heard throughout the hospital (when appropriate of course).

Our CSRs are the key to effective client communication. CSRs should be able to effectively provide client education as well as maintain our EMRs, effectively manage our appointment schedule, client check-in and check-out, prescription requests and other tasks, including maintaining a clean and tidy workspace and building.

This job requires multi-tasking, exemplary customer service skills, attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills and can be quite fast paced. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required as well as superior computer skills.

Other qualities we are looking for in our team members are: service oriented, team-player, positive attitude, adaptability, professional demeanor, motivated/self-starter, ability to adapt to different doctors, hard-working, reliable, and an understanding of the importance of quality client/patient service.

The full-time version of this position will be 4 days/week: 7am-6pm (approximately 40 hrs/week). A part-time version of this position would be 3 days/week: 7am-6pm (30 hrs/week). The starting wage for our CSR position would be between $18/hr - $21/hr depending on experience.
