Job Description
As the baker, you will be responsible for preparing baked goods. You may work directly with customers and in all cases, a commitment to customer satisfaction and a passion for providing consistent quality is a must. You'll be responsible for cleaning and maintaining baking equipment and following all safety and sanitation protocols.

Duties
- Prepare a variety of baked goods, pastries, and desserts with precision and creativity, ensuring high-quality standards are met consistently
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including mixers, ovens, knives, and other culinary tools
- Follow established recipes meticulously while adding your personal touch to enhance flavor and presentation
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace by adhering to food safety management protocols and sanitation standards
- Assist in food preparation for catering events or large-scale production runs, ensuring timely delivery of products
- Decorate pies and cookies with to meet franchise presentation standards
- Handle food with care, practicing proper food handling techniques to ensure safety and freshness at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience in food production, baking, pastry preparation, or a related culinary field with a focus on baked goods
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and proper hygiene practices within a commercial kitchen setting
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in operating various kitchen equipment safely
- Ability to work efficiently in high-volume production environments while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately and managing inventory levels
- Customer service orientation with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients
- Experience in food handling, catering, or large-scale food industry operations is highly desirable.
Pay: $12.00 - $17.00 per hour
