Join our team at Butterfly Speech Therapy as a Speech-Language Pathologist dedicated to transforming lives in a school setting! CFY's welcome with supervision from our incredible owner, who has 10 years experience working with children in school settings, in-home, clinics and Telehealth services. We are a small private practice who provides speech therapy through in-home speech therapy and in school settings. In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat a diverse range of speech and language disorders in pediatric and school-age populations. Your passion for helping children will help children develop essential communication skills, empowering them to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. - Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for pediatric patients, utilizing knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology.
- Develop speech therapy goals tailored to each child's unique needs.
- Implement evidence-based therapy techniques to improve speech articulation, language comprehension, fluency, voice quality, and swallowing functions.
- Collaborate closely with families, educators, and healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient care and effective early intervention strategies.
- Monitor progress regularly through patient assessments and adjust therapy approaches accordingly to maximize outcomes.
- Maintain detailed documentation of patient evaluations, treatment sessions, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Promote patient care by providing education on communication strategies and exercises that can be continued at home or in school settings.
Experience
- CFY's welcome! Internship or prior school experience working with children in educational or clinical settings is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated expertise in pediatrics and school age individuals.
- Strong background in speech therapy techniques across various communication disorders.
- Knowledge of physiology and anatomy related to speech production.
- Experience conducting patient assessments using standardized tools and interpreting results accurately.

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Current CA SLP license/credential or RPE
Fingerprint background clearance
