Duties
- Provide attentive and nurturing care to children, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Assist with daily routines including feeding, diapering, and nap times for infants and toddlers.
- Implement educational activities that support childhood development principles.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Administer first aid when necessary and maintain a safe environment by following health and safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with other childcare staff to create a supportive team atmosphere.
Qualifications
- Experience in daycare settings or as a nanny is preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles is essential.
- Familiarity with first aid practices is highly desirable.
- Background in early childhood education or special education is a plus.
- Strong caregiving skills with the ability to connect with children of various ages.
- Experience working with students or in classroom settings is beneficial.
- Ability to create engaging activities that cater to different developmental stages.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with parents and staff.
