Job Responsibilities
- Assist with loading and unloading furniture, boxes, and other household items for residential and commercial moves.
- Safely drive company moving trucks to and from job sites throughout Portland and surrounding areas.
- Pack and wrap items to prevent damage during transport.
- Communicate professionally and clearly with customers and team members.
- Follow instructions from team leaders and supervisors.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of trucks and equipment.
- Complete basic paperwork and keep accurate logs when required.
- Work flexibly and adapt to different job-site circumstances and environments as needed.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for the past 3 years.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check, according to O.D.O.T. regulations. No felonies or certain misdemeanors within 5 yrs.
- Ability to lift 75 lbs. or more and perform physically demanding tasks consistently.
- Strong communication skills and a dependable work ethic.
- Willingness to work in diverse job-site environments and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Reliable transportation to our Hillsboro office.
- At least 6 months of previous experience in professional moving is required.
