| GENERAL DESCRIPTION
This instructor will teach Social Studies courses to 10th, 11th, and/or 12th grade students. Courses taught by the Social Studies Department include: American History, World History, Government, Economics, Financial Literacy, Current World Issues, Psychology, and Sociology. Several CCP Social Studies offerings are also offered to students.

| QUALIFICATIONS
- Appropriate licensure/certification through the Ohio Start Board of Education covering all Social Studies course areas required such as Integrated Social Studies (150004);
- Master’s degree with 18 post graduate hours in content area preferred or willingness to obtain;
- Willingness/ability to work with students, teachers and administrators as a team member;
- Computer expertise appropriate to the position;
- Effective and demonstrated problem solving, critical thinking, analytical, oral and written communication, and organizational skills;
- State-issued identification card with photograph;
- History of strong work record, including good job attendance; and
- Documented evidence of acceptable criminal record as required by Ohio law and Board Policy.
