We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Full Time Unarmed Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and visitors. This role involves monitoring access points, conducting patrols, and maintaining a secure environment through proactive surveillance and incident management. Duties
- Monitor and control access points using access control systems to ensure only authorized personnel enter the premises
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to identify potential security risks or breaches
- Utilize CCTV surveillance equipment for continuous monitoring of the facility’s interior and exterior areas
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents following established emergency response procedures
- Write detailed incident reports documenting any security breaches, accidents, or unusual activities
- Perform background checks on visitors or contractors as required for safety compliance
- Assist with loss prevention efforts by observing suspicious behaviors and preventing theft or vandalism
Requirements
- Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable
- Knowledge of surveillance technology including CCTV systems and access control systems
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting when necessary
- Certification in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation, and emergency response procedures is preferred
- Familiarity with conflict de-escalation techniques and conflict management strategies
- Strong understanding of physical security measures and compliance with security regulations
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in diverse situations
- Ability to perform routine patrolling duties efficiently while maintaining high alertness levels
