CNC Machine Operator (4x10 Shifts) Location: Windsor, CT Schedule: 4 days a week / 10 hours a day (4x10) Compensation: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour (depending on experience) Overview Are you a skilled Milling/CNC Machinist looking to take your career to the next level? Are you interested in working four 10-hour shifts and enjoying three consecutive days off every week? Join our dynamic team in Windsor, CT, where innovation meets precision. We currently have openings for the following 4x10 shift schedules:
- Shift Option 1: Sunday through Wednesday
- Shift Option 2: Wednesday through Saturday In this role, you will be responsible for operating and programming CNC machines to produce high-quality components that meet our clients' exact specifications. - Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision parts.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet strict standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machine processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, strictly adhering to safety protocols. Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; a technical degree in machining or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a CNC machinist, with a strong understanding of milling operations.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and a steadfast commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to daily challenges. Physical Requirements
