This is a full-time, on-site role located in David City, NE, for a Speech Therapist. The Speech Therapist will assess, diagnose, and create treatment plans for individuals with speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Responsibilities include working closely with patients to develop speech and language skills, evaluating progress, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care. Additional duties include maintaining thorough patient records and staying up to date with best practices in speech therapy.
- Expertise in Speech Therapy and challenges related to speech impairment
- Experience in assessing and treating Dysphagia and other swallowing disorders
- Proficiency in diagnosing and managing Communication and Language Disorders
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Relevant licensure and a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or an equivalent field
- Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying informed about advancements in speech therapy
