POSITION: Security Monitor
STARTING DATE: As soon as possible
SALARY: Based upon the governing board-approved schedule
WORK YEAR: Full Time - 187 days, 8 hours per day

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The security monitor will serve as a security patrol, primarily when students are present.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Ability to exercise independent judgment and initiative.
Good mobility and physically capable of performing essential functions.
Ability to work with adults and students.
Must have a thorough knowledge of Ohio law, particularly as it relates to
juveniles.
Must submit a negative tuberculosis test result within ninety days prior to the date
of hire.
History of good job attendance.
Must pass criminal background check.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Salary and work year as established by the Governing Board. The employee shall remain free of any alcohol or non - prescribed controlled substance use in the workplace throughout his/her employment in the District.
EVALUATION:
Performance of this position will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board’s policy on Evaluation of Support Personnel.
