GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Audiologist's primary responsibilities are to identify, assess, and provide hearing services to eligible children, including determination of range, nature, and degree of hearing loss as well as referral for medical or other professional attention for the habilitation of hearing. The Audiologist should provide habilitative activities, such as language habilitation, auditory training, speech-reading, hearing evaluation and speech conservation. The Audiologist should administer programs to both prevent further hearing loss, as well as counsel children, parents and teachers regarding hearing loss.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's degree
Ohio Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology License
Willingness/ability to work as a team member
Demonstrated leadership ability • Demonstrated organizational abilities
Computer expertise
Valid driver's license and access to personal vehicle
History of good job attendance
Must pass criminal background check
