Preschool Intervention Specialist (2 Positions) - West Elementary 2026-2027 School Year
Must hold a valid Ohio teaching certificate/license in Special Education and a valid Ohio P-3 teaching certificate/license. Will be assigned to work in a cross-categorical manner in resource rooms and/or inclusionary settings, providing instructional services to IEP-identified students. Will work closely with other special education personnel as well as classroom teachers. Will be expected to attend IEP, ETR, and other meetings as set by the principals and/or Special Services. May work with a team of teachers. Must be properly licensed in grade level, subject and student population.
Applicants that are offered a position shall be required to submit to an FBI/BCI criminal background check. Failure to satisfactorily pass the criminal background check based upon the discretion of the Board of Education will preclude an individual from employment with the Fairfield City School District.
