Lead, Fleet and Facilities Technician
Job Duties
The Lead Fleet & Building Maintenance Technician is employed to carry out all types of maintenance service and related tasks. This position has limited supervisory authority while under the direct supervision of the Supervisor of Fleet and Building Maintenance.

Required knowledge and skills
A. Neat in personal appearance.
B. Possess valid Kansas driver’s license.
C. Must be mechanically inclined.
D. Must be able to lift 75 pounds without any limitations.
E. Ability to climb, stoop, bend and work in awkward positions.
F. Must be able to follow oral and written instructions and work independent from direct supervision.
G. Must have basic knowledge of computer fundamentals.
H. Must be qualified to drive college vehicles, including large vans and trucks I. Must be able to organize and coordinate projects, assessing materials and estimating cost and man hours. J. Show personal pride in workmanship.
K. Maintain good working relationship with college/community persons and trades.
L. Must be able to work overtime and weekends for emergencies or events
