Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting
- Mix, match, and apply paint to various surfaces using spray guns
- Cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape to protect surrounding areas from paint
- Sand and smooth surfaces to ensure proper adhesion and finish
- Apply touch-ups or repaint areas as needed
- Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment
Experience:
- Previous experience as a painter or in a similar role preferred
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and equipment related to painting
- Knowledge of welding techniques is a plus
- Mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance is beneficial
- Experience in auto painting and estimating is desirable
- Familiarity with buffing techniques for a smooth finish
- Experience with airless paint spraying is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when required
- Attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship
