Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in our facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all. This position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Shift: Afternoon shift. Both full-time and part-time positions available.
Duties:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in all areas of the facility.
- Carry out janitorial duties such as emptying trash bins, sanitizing restrooms, and replenishing supplies.
- Conduct floor care activities including buffing, waxing, and polishing floors to ensure they are in optimal condition.
- Assist with industrial cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs to management.
- Maintain equipment used for cleaning and ensure it is in good working order.
- Provide porter services when required, assisting with the movement of furniture or materials within the facility.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous custodial or janitorial experience is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and techniques is advantageous.
- Experience in floor care methods such as buffing and waxing is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning standards and safety protocols is a plus.
- Basic maintenance skills are beneficial for supporting facility upkeep.
- Ability to work independently while also being an effective team player.

Pay: $15.00 per hour
