Telecom Field Technician

Butler America is seeking experienced Telecom field technicians. Candidates to have minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience working within ATT Central Offices and ATT Cell Sites. The ideal candidates will have strong expertise in fiber testing, proficiency in ATT programs such Dafi EMS, Durf, Filetrack, NESA along with a clean driver’s license. This role requires flexibility to work both locally and out of town. The position requires working days and nights within the maintenance window. Key Responsibilities

• Perform transport system installations, maintenance, and testing at ATT Central Offices and Cell Site locations.
• Conduct fiber testing and troubleshoot transport-related issues.
• Utilize ATT programs (Citrix, NESA, SURF, Dafi EMS) to complete projects efficiently
• Create and submit COP’s per specifications
• Work within the night maintenance window for Hot Cuts
• Travel as needed for local and out-of-town projects.
  
  

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in ATT Central Office and ATT Cell Site transport projects (Preferred) or similar experience with other Carriers
• Proficient in fiber testing, radio assignment and ATT software systems. (Candidates that do not have ATT experience but have good overall understanding of transport/backhaul and telecom equipment are encouraged to apply)
• Clean driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel and work out of town.
