Inspection Technician
This is an entry-level position that involves conducting inspections of products to validate compliance to design data requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect electronic units using measuring instruments with proper techniques.
- Read and interpret Quality policies, procedures, blueprints, and other documentation.
- Perform receiving, in-process, final inspection, and 1st article approval of manufactured hardware and components.
- Operate computer systems to perform inspection tasks.
- Verify work order documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Administer visual and physical inspections of units and subassemblies.
- Complete unit shakedowns to check for foreign objects, rattles, and loose internal hardware.
- Responsible for First Article Inspections and completes related documentation.
- Perform administrative tasks associated with files management.
- Conduct Preliminary Material Reviews as needed.
- Exhibit RTX Leadership Behaviors and Values.
- Support and follow all rules/guidelines/standards set by EHS, Quality, and CI functions.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be a US Person or Citizen.
- Ability to submit to and pass a 10-panel drug screening.
- Familiarity with measuring instruments and basic inspection techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret Quality policies, procedures, and blueprints.
- Brief understanding of performing inspections.
- Proficient in using computer systems for inspection tasks and documentation.
