Facilities Engineer Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Engineer to join our team at Butler Aerospace and Defense in Palmdale, CA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular safety inspections and implement safety protocols to ensure employee training on safety procedures.
- Inspect construction and installation progress to ensure adherence to established designs, specifications, and timelines.
- Represent the Facilities department's capabilities and foster strong relationships across the organization.
- Lead and manage facility improvement projects from conception to completion.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, manage budgets and schedules, and coordinate effectively with contractors and vendors.
- Gather and analyze data regarding facility specifications, regulatory requirements, and construction feasibility.
- Collaborate with architecture and engineering firms to establish design criteria and prepare detailed layout drawings.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Construction Project Management.
- 2 years of experience with Auto-Cad.
- 2 years of experience with Microsoft Project.
- Ability to read/interpret blueprints and use digital measuring devices.
