Assembler/Machine Operator (Entry-Level)
This is an entry-level position for a Mechanical Assembler/ Machine Operator. The role involves performing various mechanical assembly, testing, fabrication, and inspection operations on different products in standard and non-standard environments.
The purpose of this position is to gain a basic understanding of deburring and air grinding machine operations. Operators must obtain a basic level of knowledge to deburr and clean parts in a manner necessary to produce precision parts.
Responsibilities include reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and engineering drawings, operating hand tools and equipment, maintaining inventory, and performing quality work checks.
This is a hands-on role that requires strong leadership behaviors and the ability to work in a team environment. The ideal candidate will have good math skills and be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
Requirements:
- US Citizenship or Permanent Residency
- High School Diploma or GED
- Able to train on 1st shift and then move to 2nd or 3rd shift
- Good tenure and employment for an extended period
- Willingness to work overtime once trained
