The specific job duties of this position include, but are not limited to:
- A-Z HR generalist duties
- Onboarding all Butch’s Propane new employees
- Work with recruiting/sign off on new hires, communicate with leadership on status of new hires (daily updates), hiring needs, improvements, etc.
- Ensuring all company policies are being followed and enforced where needed with disciplinary actions up to and including termination,
- Saving supporting documentation
- Timely completing term checklists
- Document discipline including obtaining employee signatures and Investigations,
- Maintaining and updating KPA, including coordinating, and getting complete any renewal trainings for employees
- Handling the monthly random process (saving records, keeping DOT compliance with this process, etc.)
- Maintaining and updating DQ spreadsheet information in KPA. This includes, assuring compliance in all aspects of the spreadsheet components and not falling behind
- Maintaining and updating time of request in Paycom
- Maintaining and updating driving spreadsheet
- Maintain databases (Paycom, KPA, etc.)
- Become the expert in all systems to support and policy operations (KPA, Samsara, Paycom, etc.)
- Bill review/approvals for department bills
- Weekly payroll tasks and final review response
- Help implement and create new processes, after supervisor signs off
- Daily policing of operations to ensure compliance, efficiency, to support a smooth operation with effective employees
- Daily/weekly manager check ins, including checking in with all office support staff
- Complete EOD report- daily
- Weekly meetings (if not more) with Supervisor to report any issues, changes, findings, needs, status of workload/projects, etc.
- Travel to various markets as needed
- Report immediately to upper managements/corporate/supervisor any areas of concern (safety, DOT, compliance, employees, investigations)
- Liaison with other departments
- Other projects and duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Must have strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Bachelors Degree preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Oilfield and or industry experience a plus
- Extremely detailed oriented
- Strength in professionalism and customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task in a very fast paced environment
- Exceptionally organized
- Excellent computer skills
- Pass drug test and criminal background check
- 6-10 years of prior HR experience preferred
