Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly as they arrive, providing a friendly and professional first impression
- Manage guest seating arrangements efficiently to maximize flow and comfort
- Assist with food and beverage service, ensuring timely delivery and guest satisfaction
- Check ID's (100% ID check law active per Utah State Laws)
- Handle guest inquiries via phone with courteous phone etiquette, providing information or directing calls appropriately
- Support the bar team by coordinating reservations and managing waitlists using POS systems such as Genius POS and RESY reservation services
- Foster positive guest relations through attentive service, personalized interactions, and attentive listening
Experience
- Prior host/hostess experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable guest experiences
- Experience with food service operations and knowledge of restaurant procedures
- Familiarity with POS systems is a optimal but not required
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including phone etiquette
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
- Previous hotel or guest services experience is advantageous but not required
