Duties
- Skillfully cut, trim, and prepare different types of meats according to specifications and safety standards
- Assist with preparation tasks, including, but not limited to, portioning and packaging meat products for retail or custom distribution
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, tools, and equipment in compliance with food safety and facility regulations
- Follow all food industry safety protocols, including proper knife handling techniques and hygiene practices
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while maintaining high quality standards
Qualifications
- Experience in food production, meat cutting, or culinary roles within the food industry or restaurant environment is highly desirable
- Strong knife skills with the ability to efficiently cut, debone, and portion meats accurately
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and support customer inquiries if needed
- Prior kitchen or restaurant experience is highly desirable but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is valued
