Duties
- Thoroughly wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment or manual methods.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables or organizing ingredients when needed.
- Support the catering team by handling dishware during events and ensuring all items are ready for service.
- Maintain cleanliness in the dishwashing area, including floors, sinks, counters, and storage spaces to promote a safe workspace.
- Buss tables by clearing used dishes and assisting servers with food handling to ensure efficient service flow.
- Help with basic kitchen cleaning duties such as wiping down surfaces and disposing of waste properly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely turnaround of dishes during busy service hours.
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Familiarity with food handling safety standards and sanitation practices.
