The Pastry Cook will oversee all aspects of our dessert and pastry program, from menu development and execution to production and plating. This role requires a blend of creativity, precision, and leadership. The ideal candidate will have a passion for classic and modern desserts, strong technical skills, and the ability to thrive in a high-volume, fine-dining environment.
Responsibilities:
Prepare, and execute a seasonal dessert menu that complements a steakhouse dining experience
Manage inventory, order supplies
Ensure high standards of presentation, taste, and portion control
Maintain cleanliness and organization of pastry kitchen in compliance with health and safety standards
Collaborate with the Executive Chef and management team to deliver a cohesive dining experience
Qualifications:
2 years of professional pastry experience (fine dining or high-volume preferred)
Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, bread-making, and plated desserts
Creativity with a respect for classic techniques and flavors
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to lead and work collaboratively in a team environment
Culinary or pastry degree preferred but not required
