What are the responsibilities and job description for the Long term substitute PKC Assistant position at Busy Little Beavers Early Learning Center?
Are you looking for an exciting, gratifying employment opportunity, Monday-Friday, no weekends or holidays, working with young children? We are looking for an energetic, part-school year PA Pre-K Counts classroom assistant long term substitute August 2026- October 2026. The ideal candidate will educate, care for, and stimulate the young minds at our early childhood learning center. Using a variety of teaching methods, you will teach children basic academics, while providing them with fundamental social-emotional skills.
The candidate must exude patience, compassion, energy and warmth in order to successfully guide a class of young children, each of whom will have individual needs and abilities. The most qualified candidate will also possess excellent administrative and organizational skills, in order create reports on each child's progress.
Assistant Early Education Staff Requirements:
- Experience working with young children in a classroom setting.
- Ability to communicate with young children at their level.
- Patient, compassionate attitude, with a friendly, energetic disposition.
- Nurturing personality.
- Creative mindset.
- Ability to serve as a positive role model.
- MUST hold at least a preschool CDA certificate or higher .
Job Type: Long term substitute August- October
Salary $10,368.00
