Childcare Assistant Teacher

Position Overview:
The Daycare Assistant / Floater plays a key support role across classrooms, assisting lead teachers, supervising children, and maintaining a clean and organized learning environment. This flexible position requires someone who enjoys working with different age groups and can adapt easily throughout the day.

Responsibilities:

• Assist lead teachers in caring for children ages [6 weeks to 8 years]
• Supervise playtime, meals, naps, and activities
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom
• Step in as needed in various classrooms (infant, toddler, or preschool)
• Communicate effectively with children, staff, and parents
• Follow all health and safety protocols and center policies

Qualifications:

• Experience working with young children (preferred but not required)
• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be at least 18 years old
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to pass a background check and meet state licensing requirements
• Positive attitude, flexibility, and a passion for working with kids!

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
