What are the responsibilities and job description for the Studio Associate position at BUSY BEES POTTERY?
Do you love and appreciate art and are looking to help others with their creations? This job is the perfect job for serving art (not the mess of food!). We're looking for a self-starter who will help us support our customers and continue to develop our busy paint your own pottery and arts studio. This position is for 15-30 hours/week position requiring weekend (Thurs-Sun) and holiday availability (the studio is closed New Years Day, Easter, 4th of July, Thanksgiving, and Christmas).
Responsibilities and Duties
Busy Bees Team members guide customers to choose their creative projects, explain how projects work, guide and aid customers, as well as run parties, maintain the appearance and functionality of the studio, and run the register.
We are looking for outgoing, friendly staff that can make a customer feel comfortable and give them directions in a clear and concise manner. Must be able to run a party, assist multiple people at once, and make snap decisions.
Position includes evenings and weekends must be available Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Tips can be earned for great customer service!
Qualifications and Skills
Education: High school or equivalent
Job Experience: Retail, Art/Crafts , Restaurant Service
Skills: Excellent customer service abilities, ability to multi-task, problem solve, and inspire those who enter the studio
Job Type: Part-time or Full-time
Pay: $11.00 per hour
