What You'll Do
- Operate the cash register and accurately handle cash, credit, and other transactions.
- Scan and process customer purchases quickly and efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked checkout area.
- Answer customer questions and resolve issues or complaints in a professional manner.
- Promote store loyalty programs and special promotions.
- Direct customers to sales associates for additional assistance.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking shelves as needed.
- Open and close registers daily, following policy and POS system procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Strong time management skills to ensure efficient checkout.
- Excellent communication skills-both verbal and written.
- Friendly, courteous, and customer service-oriented personality.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized.
- Team player who enjoys working with others.
- Experience in electronics, jewelry, or technical sales is a plus.
- Must be available to work evenings and weekends.
