Part-Time Customer Service & Sales Support Coordinator
Busy Beaver Buttons & Merch is looking for a friendly, detail-oriented person to join our team part-time. You'll work alongside our Customer Service Lead, Sales Manager, and operations team, handling order entry, customer communication, and day-to-day platform tasks. When things are quieter, you'll help with data cleanup, light desk research, and other projects.
This role starts as a summer position with the opportunity to grow into a longer-term engagement for the right person.
Schedule:
3 days per week. Monday and Thursday availability is required; the third day is flexible.
What you'll do
Customer service
- Greet in-person customers and museum visitors as needed
- Handle customer emails, chat, and phone inquiries
- Support customer follow-ups and basic order troubleshooting
- Coordinate with operations and production team members to ensure projects are completed on time
- Relay customer feedback to help improve processes and services
Order input & sales support
- Enter and manage orders in our system
- Create customer quotes and assist with pricing requests
- Request quotes from suppliers and calculate customer pricing using standard markup guidelines
- Keep customer and product records accurate and up to date
- Occasional off-site event support as needed
Administrative
- Help with data cleanup and record organization across platforms
- Assist with product setup and data entry as assigned
- Assist in gathering data for pricing comparisons
- Help with office organization, supplies, and day-to-day administrative needs
- Arrange travel for off-site events as needed
What you need
- Prior customer service experience
- Friendly, calm, and clear communicator
- Strong attention to detail, especially with data entry
- Confident in Google Suite — this is a must
- Quick learner with web-based tools and new software
- Able to shift gears when priorities change
- Monday and Thursday availability required
Nice to have
Experience with order management or CRM tools (hubspot, bigcommerce, shopify, etc.)
Experience coordinating with vendors or outside partners
