Duties
- Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans focused on infant and toddler development, including sensory activities, motor skill exercises, and social interactions
- Provide attentive supervision and care to ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times
- Support children with basic needs such as diapering, feeding, and comforting to promote emotional security
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning
- Communicate effectively with parents about their child's daily activities, milestones, and any concerns
- Follow all health and safety protocols, including first aid and CPR procedures when necessary
- Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and social skills among children
Experience
- Prior experience working with infants and toddlers in a childcare, daycare center, preschool, or nannying setting is highly preferred but not necessary
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus
- Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare
- Demonstrated ability to manage classroom activities with patience, creativity, and professionalism
- Certification in first aid, pediatric first aid, CPR, or related health & safety training is advantageous
- Previous experience in daycare or early childhood education environments will help you succeed in this role

Pay: $16.90 - $17.25 per hour
