Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems .
- Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Handle cash transactions accurately, process sales through POS systems, and manage billing with precision
- Maintain sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any guest concerns promptly
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially fine dining or hospitality settings
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters guest relations
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently using sales techniques tailored to guest preferences
- Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail , and food handling best practices
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks in a busy setting without compromising quality
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and sales transaction processing
