Role Description The Project Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Miami, FL. This role includes overseeing project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordination from pre-construction through closeout. The Project Manager will manage communication among owners, designers, contractors, and vendors, monitor progress against milestones, and address risks or issues that may affect timelines or costs. Daily responsibilities include reviewing plans and specifications, tracking costs and change orders, conducting site visits, ensuring quality and safety standards, and preparing status reports for stakeholders. The Project Manager will also support owner representation, participate in design collaboration discussions, and help optimize workflows to maintain efficiency and craftsmanship across commercial and residential projects.
Qualifications
- Project planning and coordination skills, including scheduling, resource allocation, and milestone tracking.
- Budget management and cost control skills, including cost estimating, change order management, and financial reporting.
- Stakeholder management and communication skills, including owner representation, vendor coordination, and clear written and verbal communication.
- Construction oversight skills, including interpreting plans and specifications, monitoring site activities, and enforcing quality and safety standards.
- Problem-solving and risk management abilities, with capacity to anticipate issues, develop mitigation plans, and make timely decisions.
- Proficiency with construction management software, scheduling tools, and basic office productivity applications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Previous experience managing commercial or residential construction projects, preferably in an owner’s representative or construction management capacity.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work on-site in Miami, FL and conduct regular site visits and meetings as required.
