We are seeking a Field Applications Engineer with a strong technical background and a customer-oriented mindset, who will work closely with the sales, product, and engineering teams to deliver high-impact engineering solutions.
Your primary mission will be to provide technical support for customer applications by selecting products, solving complex technical challenges, and ensuring that proposed solutions meet the customer’s technical, cost, and timeline requirements. You will serve as a key bridge between commercial and engineering teams, driving customer satisfaction and continuous improvement of internal processes.
- Provide technical support in product selection (impellers, motors, drives, and accessories).
- Participate in technical meetings with customers, both onsite and virtual.
- Translate customer requirements into clear technical specifications for Engineering or R&D teams.
- Train sales and customer service teams in Mexico, the U.S., and Canada.
- Support the Quality team in the analysis of technical claims and issues.
- Prepare technical presentations and support documentation.
- Lead new customer projects, ensuring on-time delivery and completion of all deliverables.
- Represent the company at industry trade shows and events.
- Support new product introductions and the standardization of customized solutions.
- Identify opportunities to optimize quotation and technical selection processes.
- Become a technical reference for product selection.
- Build trust with the sales team and key customers.
- Improve internal quotation and documentation workflows.
- Implement internal training sessions.
- Lead complex projects from start to finish.
- Develop technical selection frameworks for the region.
- Actively contribute to the evolution of the product portfolio.
- Mentor new engineers and provide technical support to sales teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar roles within a technical environment.
- Experience in project management and technical support for industrial customers.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Advanced English proficiency (mandatory).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and MS Teams.
- Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
