Weekday Book Scanner- Night Shift

I need an evening shift book scanner at our office in Hoover AL

-will be operating a Book Scanner-scanning books.

Pay $12.00/hr……Monday – Friday, hours are 3:00pm – 11:00pm

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Weekday Book Shift Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, managing data entry tasks, and supporting administrative functions during weekday daytime hours. Your organizational skills and attention to detail will ensure smooth operations and efficient workflow processes.

Duties

• Perform data entry with high accuracy using various databases and office software.
• Maintain and update electronic and physical filing systems for easy retrieval of documents.
• Assist with order entry, inventory tracking, and record keeping within ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems.
• Transcribe information from paper documents into digital formats, ensuring clarity and correctness.
• Use Microsoft Excel to create pivot tables, organize data, and generate reports as needed.
• Support office operations through clerical tasks such as filing, data collection, and basic math calculations.
• Ensure all documentation complies with company standards and maintains confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Proven clerical or administrative experience in an office environment.
• Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Experience with data entry, transcription, and order processing.
• Familiarity with databases, ERP systems, and office equipment such as scanners and fax machines.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Basic math skills for data verification and calculations.
