About the Role

BSS is seeking an IT Systems Specialist who is hungry, humble, and smart. Our team is passionate about bringing people and technology together, and we're looking for someone who enjoys building strong client relationships, helping new clients feel at ease, and creating exceptional experiences every day.

In this role, you will:

• Answer client calls, gather relevant details, and triage tickets by priority and severity.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize client downtime.
• Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support or specialized teams after 30-60 minutes.
• Communicate effectively by phone and in writing, including email and ticket updates.
• Utilize Microsoft 365 applications, Windows operating systems, and basic PC troubleshooting skills.
• Provide support for email and Outlook troubleshooting and configuration.
• Travel to client locations within the area to provide face-to-face support.
• Own tickets through resolution or escalation while keeping clients informed of progress and status.
• Perform light-to-moderate physical tasks while on-site at client locations.

Physical Requirements

This position may require:

• Moving and setting up computer equipment
• Cabling and wiring
• Racking and mounting equipment
• Basic troubleshooting of physical hardware

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus.
• Prior experience in a technical support role preferred.
• Experience with the ConnectWise suite or other ticketing systems is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a customer-focused mindset.
