Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, and install various exterior siding materials, including Vinyl, Hardie, PVC, Azek, and LP.
- Prepare exterior surfaces by removing old siding, repairing damaged substrates, and securely applying house wrap or weather barriers.
- Operate essential power tools and hand tools safely and effectively while working on scaffolding, ladders, and varying elevations.
- Inspect all completed work to guarantee precise alignment, secure fastening, and flawless adherence to manufacturer specifications.
- Collaborate daily with the Crew Foreman and fellow team members to maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free job site.
- Troubleshoot on-site installation challenges and communicate project progress or material needs to field leadership.
Requirements
- Proven hands-on experience in exterior construction, specifically focusing on siding installation, framing, or general carpentry.
- Ability to accurately read tape measures, leveling tools, blueprints, and specific project work orders.
- Strong physical stamina with the capability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and work comfortably and safely at heights.
- Solid understanding of OSHA safety guidelines, particularly regarding proper fall protection and scaffold/ladder usage.
- Excellent attention to detail with a strong work ethic and dedication to delivering high-quality craftsmanship.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel to designated local job sites.
