Responsibilities
- Manage, train, and lead a crew of landscape laborers to ensure projects are executed safely, on time, and to the highest standard.
- Perform hands-on site work alongside the team, including general landscaping, site preparation, and softscape planting.
- Construct and install functional and decorative hardscapes, specializing in durable retaining walls.
- Drive daily project workflows by effectively organizing equipment, tracking materials, and optimizing the crew's time in the field.
- Communicate effectively with on-site clients to ensure satisfaction and provide regular progress updates to senior leadership.
- Transition seamlessly into winter operations to guarantee continuous, year-round work.
- Proven experience in landscape construction, softscaping, and retaining wall installation.
- Demonstrated leadership background with the ability to effectively motivate, direct, and mentor field crew members.
- High physical stamina and the ability to perform rigorous, hands-on labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a meticulous eye for detail to ensure top-tier workmanship.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record to safely operate company trucks and equipment.
- A team-first mentality combined with excellent reliability and interpersonal skills.
- $65,000 - $80,000 base salary (commensurate with experience)
