This physically demanding yet highly rewarding role centers on performing essential stormwater maintenance and vacuum truck operations to protect community water quality. The successful candidate will safely operate specialized equipment, manage regional site maintenance, and ensure strict compliance with environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive vactor trucks and related equipment safely for stormwater, pond, and catch basin maintenance.
• Load, transport, and unload non-hazardous debris and waste materials efficiently.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle and equipment inspections.
• Communicate proactively and professionally with management and on-site clients regarding project status.
• Generate accurate reports in strict adherence to DOT, EPA, and OSHA safety and environmental regulations.
• Travel regionally for company-paid field assignments throughout the week (typically 2-4 days).
  
  

Requirements

• Hold a valid CDL Class B, with the ability to acquire a DOT health card and maintain an insurable driving record.
• Demonstrate proficiency with mobile technology, including iPads, laptops, and email platforms for daily reporting.
• Exhibit comfort with physically demanding tasks, heavy lifting, and performing duties outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
• Possess strong knowledge of construction safety; an OSHA certification is highly preferred.

• Pass a comprehensive pre-employment background check, motor vehicle report, and DOT-regulated drug screening (which includes testing for marijuana due to the safety-sensitive nature of the role).
