What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operation & Production position at Business Personnel Services?
This is a Direct Hire:
General Description:
- Operate machinery safely and efficiently to maintain production targets.
- Maintain the flow of paper stock and raw materials moving through the printing machine.
- Handle large paper rolls weighing up to 50 pounds to continuously feed the machine.
- Fix paper jams, feed alignment issues, and other minor mechanical disruptions.
Setup and Technical Adjustments:
- Perform production setups and tear-downs according to specific design runs.
- Troubleshoot and adjust machinery settings to correct alignment or ink distribution.
- Manage plates and components required for custom graphic plate machines.
Quality Control and Reporting:
- Inspect finished items
- Adjust machine parameters instantly upon discovering quality variations.
Work Hours: During Training Days - Monday - Friday 7:00 am to 3 pm (1st shift)
2nd Shift: 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm
3rd Shift: 11:00 pm - 7:00 am
MUST be OK with any shift they are eventually assigned.
