Job Description
Studio Dorion is seeking a Junior Architectural Designer to join our growing team. What You’ll Do
- Support Senior Architectural Designer in all aspects of project related responsibilities
- Draft AutoCAD drawings for architectural sets, construction details, furniture plans, and custom furniture
- Assist in developing presentation drawings and organizing materials for client meetings
- Develop and manage project schedules such as plumbing, equipment, hardware, lighting, and finishes
- Conduct research and source for project related needs
- Communicate with vendors, contractors, external consultants, and team members to assist in managing projects
- Curate, coordinate, and manage the architectural sample library
- Assist in pricing inquiries and project budget tracking
- Assist in managing, coordinating, and organizing project information and purchases in Studio Designer
Who You Are
- Has 1-2 years of full-time experience at an interior design or architecture firm
- Passionate about representing ideas through drawings
- Exceptional communicator
- Eager to move project tasks forward, loves to pick up the phone to solve a problem
- Proactive and a solution-based self-starter
- Knows how to use Studio Designer, AutoCAD, Google Suite, and Adobe Suite
- Understanding of Rhino & Vray preferred
- Has a valid US drivers license
- Is able to work in the US without sponsorship
