Job Title: Local Contract Nurse RN - Clinic
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced local contract Nurse RN for a Clinic role in Boston, focusing on ambulatory care and IV medication administration. The position offers a full-time schedule with a manageable patient load, working closely with a healthcare team in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a 3:1 patient ratio, supporting 3 infusion chairs in the clinic.
- Provide IV diuretic therapy to patients with decompensated heart failure, as an alternative to hospital admission.
- Collaborate closely with a team of NPs and MDs, including weekly care review meetings.
- Responsible for triage, IV medication/electrolyte administration, and EPIC proficiency in an outpatient setting.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in an ambulatory care or cardiology infusion setting.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred.
- Ability to work independently in an outpatient setting.
Schedule:
Full-time 40 hours/week, 8-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no weekends and no major holidays required.
