JOB SUMMARY The Software Consultant is responsible for leading software consulting engagements and ensuring successful implementation and support of Trimble Viewpoint Vista and/or Spectrum platforms for our clients. This includes onboarding new clients,
configuring the system to meet their specific needs, and providing ongoing support for existing users. Acting as a key liaison between the company and its clients, this role ensures that project goals, timelines, and deliverables are consistently met.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Analyze client business requirements and objectives to design tailored implementation strategies that align with their operational goals.

- Estimate project timelines, resource needs, and deliverables to create comprehensive, realistic project plans that account for all key variables.
- Maintain accurate and organized project documentation throughout the lifecycle of each engagement.
- Deliver expert consulting services, including strategic planning sessions, system setup, testing, readiness assessments, data imports/conversions, and custom reporting solutions.
- Build deep expertise in the Trimble Viewpoint Vista and/or Spectrum platforms and conduct thorough evaluations to ensure client requirements align with each system’s capabilities.
- Engage with clients in day-to-day interactions, providing clear communication, guidance, and support throughout the project.
- Perform additional responsibilities and contribute to internal initiatives as assigned.
- Standard office hours for this role are Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm local time zone.
- This is a full-time, exempt role.
- This is a remote role with eligibility to work from approved states in the United States.
- Some travel is required for this role.
- Ability to sit for extended periods and use a computer and keyboard for long durations. Frequent typing and use of a mouse, with fine motor skills required for accurate data entry and navigation. Must be able to maintain good posture and adjust seating and workstation to minimize physical strain.
- Bachelor’s degree required, Business Management or Accounting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, including payroll, accounts payable/receivable, inventory, purchase orders, and general ledger.
- Familiarity with construction project management processes, such as project setup from estimates, project buyouts, document management, change orders, job costing, and billing.
- 3–5 years of experience in software consulting, preferably within the construction or ERP space.
- Hands-on experience with Trimble Viewpoint Vista and/or Spectrum is strongly required; experience with comparable ERP systems such as Sage or CMiC will be considered.
- Proven experience in client relationship management and the ability to engage with stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Experience collaborating with application developers and technical teams.
- Willingness and ability to travel to client sites within the United States, as needed.
