Plays a critical role in growing our business.  Responsible for prospecting, qualifying and nurturing sales leads that would result in opportunities for the Enterprise Sales force within a specified territory. Expected and required to make independent business decisions on a daily basis with the objective of attaining all their quarterly and annual goals. The mechanism of their outreach is via the phone (primarily), email and social media.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Generate new leads through a variety of methods, including cold calling, email marketing, and social media outreach
  • Qualify leads by determining their needs and interest in Grooper
  • Set up meetings between leads and sales representatives
  • Follow up with leads to ensure they are being properly nurtured
  • Track and report on lead generation results
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute lead-generation strategies
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity

Additional Functions:

  • Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:

Your Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in sales or lead generation
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with modern sales tools
  • High Technical aptitude required
  • Excellent written and verbal presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office products

Physical Requirements:

  • Sitting for long periods of time
  • Lifting up to 35 pounds
  • Repetitive motion involving hands and fingers

Travel Requirements:

  • Frequent
