What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Development Representative position at BUSINESS IMAGING SYSTEMS INC?
Plays a critical role in growing our business. Responsible for prospecting, qualifying and nurturing sales leads that would result in opportunities for the Enterprise Sales force within a specified territory. Expected and required to make independent business decisions on a daily basis with the objective of attaining all their quarterly and annual goals. The mechanism of their outreach is via the phone (primarily), email and social media.
Responsibilities:
- Generate new leads through a variety of methods, including cold calling, email marketing, and social media outreach
- Qualify leads by determining their needs and interest in Grooper
- Set up meetings between leads and sales representatives
- Follow up with leads to ensure they are being properly nurtured
- Track and report on lead generation results
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute lead-generation strategies
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity

Your Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in sales or lead generation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with modern sales tools
- High Technical aptitude required
- Excellent written and verbal presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Proficiency in MS Office products
