Business Flow Group is a boutique operations consultancy helping small business owners build systems, structure their teams, and scale sustainably. We’re a lean, fast-moving team and we’re growing.


This role exists because the founder needs to step out of day-to-day client management to focus on growth. You step in as the coordination and client experience hub the person who keeps every engagement on track, every client feeling taken care of, and every next step clear.


If you’re early in your career, or a recent college grad looking for your first "real job" and want to learn what it takes to run a consulting business, this role is worth a serious look.


What You'll Do:

01 Client Coordination (Primary Focus)

You’re the organizational backbone of every active client engagement. You track deliverables, keep projects moving in our project mananagement tool, and communicate proactively with clients so the founder isn’t the bottleneck. You’ll be trained on each client, their context, history, and what matters to them.


02 Business Development Support

You’ll support the company's growth. This means attending networking events, building referral relationships, and identifying opportunities. You don’t need to have done this before, you need to be comfortable in a room and genuinely interested in learning it. The commission structure rewards you directly when your Business Development activity converts.


03 Marketing Quality Assurance

You’ll review the company's marketing content before it goes live, and make sure everything reflects our brand standards. You’re not creating content; you’re the quality check that ensures what goes out is right.

Nice to have, we’ll train you on what’s missing:

  • Some exposure to client or account management, even through internships or campus roles
  • Experience in a networking, sales, or business development environment
  • Familiarity with professional networking organizations
  • Basic marketing awareness, understanding of brand voice and content quality
  • Marketing or business degree


What You'll Learn

This role is a real education in how a consulting business operates. Over the first year, you’ll gain hands-on experience in:

  1. Client Relationship Management: How to hold and grow client relationships in a consulting context
  2. Business Development: Networking strategy, referral selling, and pipeline building
  3. Small Business Operations: How fractional COO engagements are scoped, delivered, and grown
  4. Marketing & Brand Operations: Quality Assurance processes, content standards, and marketing cadence


What We Offer

  • Pay: $24–$30 per hour (dependent on experience and skill set) 10% Commission on Business Development activities. More experienced candidates are welcome to apply, rate is negotiable based on experience.
