Cloud Infrastructure Architect

Role: Cloud Infrastructure Architect

Location: Sacramento, CAb (Onsite)

Duration: 24 Months

Job Responsibilities:

• Should have ten (10) years of experience with infrastructure as code (IAC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, AWS Cloud Formation or something similar.
• Shoud have ten (10) years of experience developing automation scripts and managing cloud functions using Python, Ruby, Go or something similar.
• Should have ten (10) years of experience providing operational support, maintenance, Monitoring, and incident resolution for cloud-based infrastructure services, including Server-based workloads hosted in Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or comparable public cloud platforms.
• Should have ten (10) years of experience performing IT infrastructure engineering, Administration, and operations support for enterprise computing environments, Including physical and virtual servers, cloud-based instances, storage systems, Backup platforms, and related infrastructure components.
• Should have ten (10) years of experience supporting, maintaining, and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows Server and/or Linux server operating systems in a production Enterprise environment, including server patching, vulnerability remediation, and System hardening.
• Should have one or more of the following certifications:
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
  • Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert
  • Certified Kubernetes AdministratorExperience with modern architecture patterns and standards, and designing cloud Solutions for availability, reliability, scalability, security and cost-effectiveness. 

• Experience with modern architecture patterns and standards, and designing cloud Solutions for availability, reliability, scalability, security and cost-effectiveness.

• Experience architecting for high-performance serverless computing and managing Applications in containers at scale using Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience with public cloud infrastructure services, including Amazon Web Services (AWS) and/or Microsoft Azure, such as AWS EC2, EBS, VPC, IAM, and Azure Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Storage Accounts, and identity and Access management services.

• Experience with virtualization technologies, including Microsoft Hyper-V and/or Comparable enterprise virtualization platforms, supporting server provisioning, Performance tuning, and lifecycle management.

• Experience with enterprise backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions, Including backup scheduling, restore testing, and recovery procedures for both on Premises and cloud-hosted workloads using tools like Veeam.

• Experience with server patching, update management, and configuration Management processes to ensure system security, stability, and compliance using Tools like Tanium.

• Experience providing consulting services to State and/or Federal agencies in the USA is a plus.
