Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their food orders at the pizza counter
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales quickly and accurately
- Handle cash register operations, including processing cash, credit card transactions, and giving correct change
- Support food preparation tasks, including assembling pizzas and managing food safety standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness of the workspace, including sanitizing counters, equipment, and dining areas
- Manage food service customer order management efficiently to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and follow sanitation protocols to uphold food safety standards
Requirements
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments preferred
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cashiering experience essential
- Familiarity with food handling, safety management, and sanitation practices in a retail or restaurant setting
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders during busy periods
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and sales transactions
- Culinary experience or food industry background is a plus but not required
- Proven customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods and operate kitchen equipment safely
