We expect developers to take ownership of projects and get their code into production. The Solutions Architect is responsible for designing, developing, and leading technical initiatives. This role requires a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies, as well as the ability to work closely with team members to deliver high-quality software solutions. Our tech: Python, PHP, Node.js, MySQL, React, MongoDB, Redis, RabbitMQ, GCP, and a ton of AWS services like SQS, SNS, S3, Lambda, Fargate, Cognito, RDS, ElasticSearch, and more. How You'll Contribute • Provide technical guidance and support to engineering teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and architectural standards. • Design and architect scalable, resilient, and maintainable software systems that meet the evolving needs of our marketplace. • Leverage AI to optimize internal workflows and accelerate our workforce. • Develop machine learning models for tasks such as marketplace optimization, fraud detection, and call center operations. • Design and implement cloud-native solutions on AWS using cloud-based services and best practices. • Integrate Twilio's communication APIs into our platform to enable seamless customer interactions. • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the software development landscape. What We're Looking For • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. • 10+ years of experience in software development. • Strong proficiency in Python and related frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask). • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). • Deep understanding of AI and machine learning concepts and their application to software development. • Proven ability to design and architect scalable, distributed systems. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. • Experience with complex distributed systems. Bonus Points • Experience working in an insurance marketplace or related field. • Familiarity with Twilio's communication products. • Contributions to open-source projects or communities.
