Our client in the Metro West area of MA is seeking a Full Time Direct Hire Structural Engineer with an active Professional Engineer license in Massachusetts. The Structural Engineer will be responsible for, but not limited to: design and reporting; concrete / pavement investigation, performance evaluations, rehabilitations, and adaptive reuse of public transportation structures such as highways / roadways, covered roadway structures, and roadways supporting building structures. Work will be a mix of field, in office, and remote.
To be considered, you must have:
- 5 years of progressively responsible Structural Engineering experience with concrete / pavement investigations, performance evaluations, rehabilitations, and adaptive reuse of public transportation structures such as highways / roadways, covered roadway structures, and / or roadways supporting building structures
- Licensed registered PE in MA
- Proficiency with design, reporting, and project management; and experience developing and revising project specifications, field reports, technical reports, and proposals
- Proven ability to collaborate across an organization as well as with internal and external parties (Construction Firms, Contractors, Insurance Carriers, Attorneys, Owners, Regulatory Agencies, etc.)
- Solid organizational skills and an ability to prioritize and execute effectively
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness and desire to mentor junior team members and for continuous professional growth and improvement
- Ability to multitask daily from the following: Project Management, Project Design, Mentorship, Professional Development, Site Visits / Evaluations
- Valid Driver's License and reliable motor vehicle
- Masters or other Advanced Degree(s) preferred
