Your Role:
As a Local Truck Driver at PTG Logistics, you will:
- Transport finished goods and raw materials safely and efficiently between our manufacturing plants and distribution centers.
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections, ensuring safety and mechanical soundness.
- Maintain accurate logs of your work/rest periods and mileage, while complying with all relevant regulations.
- Maneuver trucks into loading and unloading positions, ensuring secure transport of goods.
- Communicate effectively to collect and verify delivery instructions, promptly reporting any defects or incidents.
What You’ll Need:
- At least 21 years of age.
- Valid Non-CDL License and 12 months of verifiable driving experience.
- Meet PTG's MVR and risk rating qualifications.
- Ability to lift and move products and pallets weighing up to 75 pounds.
- Clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations and 1 at-fault accident in the past 3 years; no DUIs in the last 5 years.
- Hands-on experience with electronic equipment (GPS, ELD, etc.) and strong organizational skills.
